Default 77, flopped bottom set close to bubble

Deepish in a small stakes MTT (Absolute 4k guaranteed). 48 left with top 45 cashing. Average stack 35k roughly. Blinds 600/1200. UTG+1(quite active and aggressive, around 70k in chips) raises to 3,600, folded to me in the CO (I have 52k) and I have 77. I decide to smooth call. Button (has around 35k and is quite tight) also calls, blinds both fold.

pot is 12,600
Flop comes 7s Qs Jd

UTG+1 leads for 5k I re pop it to 15k, button shoves his last 30k or so in and the original raiser shoves his entire stack all in. What are people thinking here?? Am I calling this?
cheers in advance
Paddy

Call, people do crazy things with JQ, AQ,KQ, flush draws, straight draws, flush and straight draws etc. etc. here. I think the early position would flat call with QQ or JJ trying to trap you, button doesn't need a set to shove.

But im thinking close to the bubble, one could have a straight draw and one a flush draw meaning i hav a big chance at being knocked here. Surely such a high risk flop makes this a marginal decision at this late stage??

get it in there

The only hands you are worried about are QQ and JJ ... you are crushing the ranges of these guys

I call as well, i think you are ahead pretty much all the time here, there however is a good chance that you will have to fade some straight and flush cards. I like how you played the hand, you also hit exactly what you were looking for, a set, if you are going to have qualms about getting it all in when you hit the set when you are on the bubble then you should fold preflop.

Call...you might bubble out but who want to play for 3 hours to double their money? You want 1-3.

Hi Paddy,

Let me advocate the opposite argument: fold, because you have a set and are ahead more often than not. And if you win, you probably become chip leader. OK, done.

You should call here with the intent of almost tripling up and going really deep in the tourney. Also you are killing the range of villian's here being only dead to JJ and QQ.

i think 30% you are against a set. therefore this is an easy call. the shover easily could have aq or kk aa . the other guy could have aq or draw .
