Default Getting it in (that\'s what she said) - 3 hands

I just dusted off Stars yesterday, trying to both get the hang of no limit and remember everything I forgot over the past eight months (and arguably more, since I was checked out well before that).

I'm basically trying to get my money in, both when I have the advantage and when it's going to have to go in any way. I feel like I'm overplaying these hands - maybe getting a little too excited about being able to bet more than twice the big blind.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Donkey is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, CO calls $0.02, 1 fold, SB raises to $0.1, Donkey calls $0.08, CO folds.

Flop: ($0.22) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $0.2, Donkey raises to $0.8, SB raises to $2.2, Donkey raises to $2.9, SB calls $0.70.

Final Pot: $6.02

Notes: Preflop? I've been trying to avoid gratuitous 3-betting like I might do in a limit game, but this one seems pretty weak preflop.

Notes: Preflop's only because MP2 is coming along, but is it any good anyway? How about the rest of the hand?

Yes fold preflop. This is not a regular 3bet hand. If I 3bet light with AA/KK/AK and Axs, I only do it with the Axs maybe 1 in 5-6 times I have it. Basically rarely. If they see you do it once, they assume you always light 3bet. Its awesome. No need to do it more often.

Post flop is fine, although You could call here if you figure his range is only AK/KK/AA, simply because you don't have fold equity and can stack him when u hit. Doubt his range is that tight at these stakes.

I wouldn't call with KJ preflop normally because it lacks a lot of value. You get paid off by like QJ and KT, both are really weak hands, and he has a lot more stronger hands in his range. You need to do two things in this hand IMO, check/call flop and bet turn, or check/raise flop. Because its 2NL I would expect the check/raise to get call too often, so I would just check/call.

I'm not a huge fan of this. You should have an idea of this guys raising range to call this bet, if you don't I would play the rest of the hand passively, probably even if you hit your 9. Its really important information to know what this guy min-raises these flops with. Overall I think you should fold, but its probably close.

I'm not sure if your ahead or behind, they probably stack off with A6 or AK so its thin either way. Once the third guy pushes ugh, your beat most of the time but the frigin odds get ya.

Hope that helps. Don't post three hands in a row, its exhausting analyzing them.
