Re: All in call +EV?
No. He's tight. You're UTG. You're crushed.

LOL. Just because they are a pro does not mean they don't make horrible moves.

Re: All in call +EV?
The way I see it the villian in the hand would have to be doing this with like the top 15% of hands in order for it to be profitable or +ev. The ultra tight image you gave villian in your description is not even close to pushing the top 15% here. He's more like in the top 4-5% which only includes pairs larger than 88 and AK. Against that range of hands you're not in good shape, hence it's -ev.
Also it would be helpful if you posted your hands with more info (ie. buy-in, antes, etc.) You'll get more response this way. Oh yeah welcome to the forum. |

Re: All in call +EV?
Ty..i plan on posting a lot here!
In aswer to your question it was a $109 tourney at ps, around 230 entrants, 1500 sarting chips...there were around 50 people left, money was around the 30th. One thing, what if u do not know of the villians tightness (if for example youre playing many tables at once).Do you guys think that might justify a call? |

Re: All in call +EV?
No. Do you really want a race right now, at best? Plenty of chips to pick a better spot still.
