Default Bottom Set vs. Scary Board

I've noticed I'm becoming LAGgy, so I'be been looking out for situations where I should have slowed down. What do you think of this on all streets?

SB - Fairly recent addition but seems pretty loose and moderately aggressive.
BB - Super LAG. Plays most hands. Semi-bluffs just about any draw and makes more than his share of bluffs.

Pre-Flop:
One limper, I call with 33, SB calls, BB raises, all call.

Flop [7 small bets]: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Checked to me and I bet. Blinds call and EP folds.

Turn [5 big bets]: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Checked to me and I bet. Both call.

River [8 big bets]: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Checked to me. I check?

I didn't think either would have a higher set or a flush. They would have bet or c/r'ed the flop or turn. I thought either one would probably call and maybe raise with a pair, 2 pair, or a straight.

Is this a FR game, or what?

I generally fold preflop. I think flop and turn are good. Checking through would be extremely dumb IMO. I think this is an easy river value bet.

Your opponents have shown no strength whatsoever, and you have a medium strong hand. I'm not going to say its the easiest value bet ever, but I would make it every time, and not lose any sleep whatever the results were.

Once I have one limper in front of me, I almost guarantee at least a 4 way pot, I limp with any pocket pair.

When you say 4-way pot, are you including the blinds? Don't we need multiple limpers or the ceratin knowledge more will limp along behind us to make a limp with a very small pair correct? In the online games I play (as low as 5-10), two limpers, even in early position does not seem to guarantee more limpers behind them.

If most hands had been going 4-handed to the flop, I would have folded. Most flops were 6-7 handed and I was really surprised to see all 3 players behind me fold. In short, the pre-flop action went just about as bad as it could have.

So why'd you check?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I checked. I put that as a question because in other hands I've posted I've gotten feedback that I've played too fast and that's why I asked if this was a situation where I should have just checked.

In this hand, I got check-raised by the SB.

Aha. Now we know why you are second-guessing yourself.

Try not to be results-oriented. You're right, a higher set or a flush will raise that turn a lot more often than it won't. You had no reason to think your hand wasn't best, and it's unlikely that the both of them were drawing, so you should be able to collect one bet from at least one of them. So bet.
