Site to grab freelance web designers and graphic artists?
I remember there being a good one posted somewhere on 2+2 but can't find the link via search. I believe it was a forum, you could post and get bids or pm designers. I remember the prices being fairly cheap for quality work. Anyone have the link?

The elance.com site is full of guys/gals that need the experience to add to their portfolios. They will bid the minimum to get the work.
Any of you have experience at web design, ad copy writing, or logo design...you won't get any work through this site as you apply your standard working rate price you will be under cut EVERY TIME. I do some copy writing for the Seminole Casino here in Immokalee and every time I submit a bid for work on elance I get under cut by at least half. Summary: if you want some work done...use elance. If you are looking for design work...look elsewhere.

sitepoint.com has a marketplace section to solicit and/or bid for various web design services.
Several months ago I used sitepoint to create a "contest" to develop a logo and banner (more graphic design type work) for my website and was happy with the process and results.
