(FT $5.5) 89s in Bubble at CO - Suggestions?
Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t100/t200 4 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t2970 Hero: t4120 SB: t3110 BB: t3300 Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, Hero? Suggestions? BB has done a good job of maintaining aggression on the bubble so far and so I haven't been able to try to bully it. Not only has he raised often, but he's RR a few times when someone acted first. Is this a hand I should be raising into him on? If so, how much? If he RR, do I muck even though he's likely full of it? Thanks! |

I think you mean BB has been aggressive, and if its very likely you will get reraised here then you should just fold. You can't do anything but fold if he reraises, so unless everyone is playing really tight I'm not being aggressive with this hand.

Yes, the BB. Thanks for the catch. Top post reads correctly now.

You may need to edit your post. You are the button and the BB is the one who has been reraising a lot?
Anyway, my default would be to raise to 500 and go from there. Fold if either of the blinds reraises preflop. If you think the BB is going to reraise more than 30% of the time then I would just fold preflop becasue there is no way you can call a reraise. If you had a better hand like 88 or AJ you could just push preflop. |
