What's the worst score you have taken on a single hole?

Sandpiper Golf Course, Goleta, CA.

Don't remember the hole number, but it bordered the Pacific Ocean, I hooked two in a row off the tee into the water, then hit a solid drive. Thinking I was now about to hit shot six, I tried to carry the inlet in front of the green, and plunked that one OB as well, I think I three putted and such, ended with:

Three OB's, three put, flubbed chip, total score of: 13, on a par 5. Eight over par.

Edgewood in the Pines Drums, PA. Oddly enough Ron Jaworski now owns the course.

Golf districts my junior year of high school. 18th hole 487 yard par 5 (my 6th hole from the shotgun start) Ripped a drive OB. On my next shot off of the tee clipped a tree, ball landed behind a pine and I had to pitch out into the rough right in front of the fairway. Tried to be smart and hit a 7 iron, club turned over and hit a flub about five feet in front of me. Hit the 7 down the fairway to about 200 away. Tried to hit a three wood. Right into the water. Then hit a wedge into the water off of my drop. Hit the next wedge over the green. Then flubbed a chip. Chipped to about 10 feet and three putted.

Ended up shooting a 116 for the day. Man, why did I just re-live that. Funny thing was the next summer I shot a 77 there in a member guest with a birdie on 18.

In competition, a 9. Hit drive into the trees, punched out into a hazard. Hit some more shots toward the green and three putted.

Just recently with jupiterpig I had a 9 on the 10th hole (par 5). Tee shot in the hazard, next shot off a tree into a hazard, next shot fat into a hazard. Then i hit it over the green, chipped on to 30 feet and drained the putt for a 9.

15th hole at English Turn, par 5 with the green surrounded by water.

Started on 10 with a bogey, then made 3 birdies to arrive at the reachable par 5 at two under.
Perfect drive left me 215 or so.
4 iron wet. Because of the shape of the hole, my drop was only a few yards closer to the hole. Dunked two more before finally finding dry land.
My caddy mumbled something about Tin Cup when we left the hole.
Shot 75, which was a "moral victory".

Next day on the range, Hugh Royer greets me with,
"Whats up, Bo Derek?"

There is no limit. Unless there is some local rule in effect that limits it. In HS non-conference matches we had to stop at double par. In the ladies flight of the member-member here last week the max on any hole was 10.

Wow, SOMEBODY's touchy today. I don't want to give away who, but his name may start with "B" and end with "ellagioPlayer".

Not very interesting, a ten on the second hole of a course, at the time I was fighting a very occasional but evil duck slice. Hit three into the houses off the tee and then played it like a par. Anyway, this was notable because while it took a huge toll on my psyche that hung like a cloud on the front nine, I did manage to shake it off well enough to shoot like a 37 on the back.

Anyway, my more proud accomplishment was at Edgewood Tahoe, an absolutely stunning course where they play the biggest celeb tournament of the year. Took a quad on the second hole which pissed me off and I sucked the entire front nine, but rebounded on the back for a bogey-free 33, including an eagle on 18. 45-33-78.

I had a 13 on a par 5 in a high school match once. Three balls out of bounds.

The previous hole was a 175 yard par 3 and I almost aced it. F me!
