The Shield Ep 6.7
Hour and a half until it airs... any thoughts?
Obviously there's going to be tension between Shane and Vic, curious as to how each one handles the situation. Last week someone suggested Hyatt is really still working for the Feds, maybe we'll see more of that tonight. Hopefully lots of Tina... Maybe those lockerroom pictures Billings took will re-surface.

I felt kinda confused througout the episode, there was so much going on with this group and that gang that I'm not really sure what was happening.

Ugh, the girlfriend was over tonite and every 5 minutes kept asking "Whats happening? Who's that guy?" From what I got, seemed like a good episode, but I'll have to catch it again when they re-air it. I really, really hate Mara. Can't wait to see how the bad blood between Vic and Shane gets resolved, if at all. I guess I could see Shane leaving or Vic killing him and the Strike Team being Vic, Ronnie, Hyatt and Julian.

It would be a real stretch for someone to get Hernan's phone and remember that number, and it seems like an easy thing for Hernan to explain away. It appears that Hernan might have bought the farm already. Claudette opened her big mouth to Aceveda, who opened his big mouth to the developer, who I'm sure is working with/for the gang. Aceveda's role is starting to annoy me. I guess the political realities have a lot to do with decisions that are made in the barn, but the end result is that Aceveda only shows up for a few minutes every week and invariably F*s up because he's being duped by some politico. I'd like to either see him do something good for once, or finally cross the line and become a corrupt (but competently so) official.

Yeah I agree with DK that Aceveda spilling the info to the developer guy is what got Hernan killed. Why would a former cop -- and captain of the department -- be so careless as to compromise the identity of an undercover fed? It's getting a bit ridiculous how corrupt Aceveda is. He started off the series being the nittiest by-the-book do-gooder on the show, and now he's just an angle-shooter.
