Stupid question about how to send an attachment to e-mail
Hi, I'm even worse at computers than poker so please forgive my ignorance. To get a check from Full Tilt in the mail I have to e-mail them my ID and bill. I have this on a disk but when I tried to attach it and send it I got it returned with this message:
I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster. If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The mail system <cashier@fulltiltpoker.com>: message size 3945549 exceeds size limit 3000000 of server 10.11.3.29[10.11.3.29] Anyway, I know I've sent this to sites before but I don't remember how. Any help on this would be appreciated. I use AOL if that makes any difference. Thanks |

Re: Stupid question about how to send an attachment to e-mail
The size of the message you're trying to send is too big. Either save your pictures in a different format (jpg) or zip them.

Re: Stupid question about how to send an attachment to e-mail
The file size is too large for fultilt's mailbox. You'll have to shrink it some how or break it into two files.

Either save your pictures in a different format (jpg) [/ QUOTE ] Good answer. For the file to be that big (>3mb) it's probably a .bmp. If so, just open it in mspaint, and save as .jpg. |

Re: Stupid question about how to send an attachment to e-mail
I went into my Paint Shop program and saved it in the highest compression and I think that did the trick. Thanks for all the help.
