2p2 paper game!
This is coming a little late for many of you, but a lot of us still have papers and exams to finish up, so I'll introduce the game anyways. Basically, the goal is to insert a Two+two'ism into a paper, and then post the sentence or phrase in this thread. I'll start, just so everyone can have some inspiration and an idea for how the game works:
[ QUOTE ] The once robusto and commanding Othello [/ QUOTE ] For the sentence to count it must actually appear in the final edition of a paper. Feel free to post clever ways to use acronyms or other 2p2'isms in papers, but don't cheat by saying that you actually used them. |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
I really wish this had happened two weeks ago so I could have inserted "Do you see why?" into my math paper. Or the lecture.
Maybe I can you it as data in my linguistics paper - it would be an example of do-insertion.... |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
This is a great game.
I will continue this tradition for the rest of my college career. Too bad this year is over. Well, not to bad, but you know. |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
Poppa,
Since you started the thread you should be responsible for bumping it in September. The game sounds like it could be a blast. |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
Here's one from my comprehensive exams I had to take this morning:
[ QUOTE ] The relationship between Jews, Gentiles, and early Christians was an incredibly complex one, influenced by religion (ldo), blah blah blah [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
[ QUOTE ]
excerpt from my final paper for a philosophy class: "indeed, if this set holds (as is standard in materialism) then it is crucial..." [/ QUOTE ] see this doesn't count. That's just a word that has been 2p2'ized that you are using normally. You would have to say "crucial" instead of "crucially" in a sentence for it to count. Like instead of "ship it crucially" we say "ship it crucial." Oftentimes working these into papers will require obvious spelling or grammar errors. Still, I applaud both the fact that you are still writing papers and that you are in the spirit of the game. |

Re: 2p2 paper game!
I've got a philosophy paper coming up. I have little doubt I can work in some 2p2isms. Will post updates.
