Default NLHE $10 Hand... where odds and standard shorty plays blur

This was an interesting spot. One where we can clearly see the difference between a cash game and a tourney. Cash game this is an instacall IMO.

I don't recall average chipstack or people remaining, but we're far from the money. Don't recall any reads, but I'd have a tough time arguing that any read would be considered terribly significant in this situation.

Pot odds are close to a call on set-mining (which is got to be the only thing I'm after). Implied odds clear call. I probably fold here on the initial pass a lot, but I called and I'm fine with that.

What's interesting is that my stack size after someone has raised is usually push/fold, but can I actually just call here sometimes? Stack size is terrible afterward, but not impossible. I think arguments can be made for every option here. Please make them:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t400 (9 handed) internettexasholdem.com

CO (t10330)
Button (t19855)
SB (t6835)
BB (t17591)
UTG (t17325)
UTG+1 (t8880)
MP1 (t5340)
MP2 (t9512)
SnareHero (t5215)

Preflop: SnareHero is MP3 with 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 calls t400, SnareHero calls t400, CO raises to t1600, Button calls t1600, SB calls t1400, BB calls t1200, MP2 calls t1200, SnareHero (ultimately decided on choosing between 2 options and literally flipped a coin before acting)

Pot size is 8825 when it comes back around.

Love to see arguments to push, call, and fold.

Easy call. You need 10:1 implied odds for set value and your getting more than half of that in pot odds alone, stacks make up the rest.

Edit: oops, I just noticed your short stack which makes it a lot closer but I tend to play on the gamble side of neutral so I call anyway.
