Hes got either AA or AK. There are far more Ak combos (9 i believe) than AA (just 1). Youre playing for a chop but I dont think I lay it down at any point.

I check behind on the flop to avoid this exact situation. I know that people will say that this is results oriented etc., but I don't think you get 3 streets of value here so betting the turn and river is just as good as flop and turn or flop and river. I agree 100% with pterodactyl on his range.

It just seems like it is air more often than not here. Would a nit really check ak on this board? it is draw heavy. He would definitely not c/r this flop as it bloats the pot and folds out almost all hands that beat him. Checking AA is also very unlikely as I would rarely have an ace here. He would be more likely to c/c, lead turn or c/r turn with aa imo.

What are you putting him on? He only raises 3%, that is 99+ and AKs AQs.

why not 3bet/shove flop? Snap off a bluff and get an ounce of fold equity against another AK?

Your range is probably about right, but please don't trust a 100 hand sample.

If he does have air why would I want him to fold?

But would a nit bluff you like this on every street?
