Default Stars Sunday Million Final Table REPLAY

Can someone clue me in to what's the deal with these broadcasts? First of all, why are they showing a replay of last weeks final table, but with the cards exposed? And secondly, why are only 5/9th of the players' cards exposed, and the other 4 not shown??

They are showing it for for your entertainment and information. The reason for the cards being exposed is obvious: don't you enjoy watching poker on TV while you are able to see the players' hole cards?

The players have to consent to PS showing their hole cards. 5/9 means 4 players have not consented to their hole cards being shown.

They do this every week. They email all the final tablers & ask if they consent to showing their hole cards. Some do, some don't.

Without the majority of hole cards showing, it's not much of a spectacle, IMO.

Yeah, kinda cool, would be cooler with more showing. Why would anyone agree to show all interested parties exactly how they played the entire final table? I guess considering any final table is going to be shortstacked you won't give away too much information... but still, what's the advantage?

I allowed them to show mine last year, because I didn't think I had much to hide. I didn't bluff much at it (didn't need to, really) and this way, my friends can all watch how I played. I felt like it was being at a FT of a WSOP or WPT event, where they show everyone's hole cards.
