Re: AK river decision
Checking turn is bad. Id stick in $15-$20 here.

Re: AK river decision
Why the turn bet? i was thinking pot control - check, but i want to hear why you bet turn.

Re: AK river decision
I bet turn to stop him hanging on to trashy draws.

Re: AK river decision
looks like a call to me, it's been played so weak and you're getting nearly 3 to 1. He could have anything. I call here all day.
As a side note, since checking the turn OOP looks so weak. Would it be more sensible to bet less on the flop and bet again on the turn as a means of controling pot size ? |

Re: AK river decision
I do not mind the turn/river check..Any bet we make committs us to call for the remainder of our stack..IMO if the stack go in we are beat(at best splitting)...Must call the river..Checking turn and or river induced a bluff/bet..

Re: AK river decision
Doesn't seem like a great spot for pot control to me. Why are you reraising AK preflop if you're going to play for "pot control" when you hit? As far as trashy draws go, what trashy draws can villain have in a reraised pot here? (I would guess none you know better than me since you're playing with villain)

Re: AK river decision
Bet turn, easy call on the river IMO.
