Default AQs against a nit. I play like [censored]

He's 13/9 through 200 hands. There has got to be a better way to play this. R/R PF?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP ($100)
CO ($113.35)
Button ($109.85)
SB ($79.05)
Hero ($182.10)
UTG ($100)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $4</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, Hero calls $3.

Flop: ($8.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $7</font>, Hero calls $7.

Turn: ($22.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $21</font>, Hero calls $21.

River: ($64.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $42</font>, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $106.50

I think c/c flop lead turn is probably the best line against this guy. Against the fishes I like to c/c c/c cause they never check behind, but fold a lot of garbage to a turn lead.

I'd be more tempted to fold preflop than reraise

I'd rather just flat call

he probably won't often call a reraise with worse hands, and you will be oop in a large pot in some very bad situations

my philosophy is that i 3-bet such a wide range that i ejaculate at getting the chance to 3-bet AQs, cos its the very top of my range

why call the turn when you fold to a blank on the river?

i agree that he is tight, but we're still in pretty good shape against a big part of his range. and the fact that he's a nit might mean if he calls our 3-bet, he'll give up easier that most on the flop.
