Brag Basketball 2 on 5
I played in my social league game tonight, we only had 5 players and with 9 minutes left one fouled out while we were up by 8, with 7 minutes left we were down to 3 still up by 8. With 2 minutes left (the only two that are fully timed) our centre went off with an injury, we were up by 6. For some reason they let us keep playing. Anyway I managed to catch 4 out of 5 inballs whilst 4 teamed and went to the line twice making 4 straight free throws. We won by 2 points. It was pretty amazing some of the passes I caught not to mention I usually play 4 and was managing to keep the ball on the floor for about 10 seconds each time I got it before they managed a foul.

" For some reason they let us keep playing."
Yeah, the rules actually state that you can finish with even 1 player if the referee feels that you still have a chance to win, which obviously you did. Nice job winning. |

Re: Brag Basketball 2 on 5
I hit a game-winner on my JV team in high school. Didn't even realize I did it until after it happened. Team went apeshit. Was pretty sweet.
That's all I got. Nice playing, must have been really entertaining to watch that as well. |

Re: Brag Basketball 2 on 5
in 5th grade i was playing the city championship game against one of the top 5th-6th grade teams in the state, possibly the country-- the St. Aloysious Peacocks.
at halftime we were hanging in there, down only 6 due to an impressive 3-point performance by Jimmy "Squeaky Legs" Seigwald (7 for 9). however disaster soon struck, as my entire team began suffering from intense stomach cramping, nausea, and diarrhea. many suspect foul play was involved and that the halftime gatorade was poisoned, with the number one suspect being Mark Gonzalez, the peacocks over-intense assistant coach. only i had not drank any gatorade, refusing on principle because i had insisted on orange, and we had been given only lemon-lime and fruit punch. coach told me the game was on my shoulders and told me it was my time to shine. it was the most lopsided loss in kentucky youth basketball history. we lost 214-35, despite half their team fouling out in the second half, due to deliberately shoving me to the ground at will. |
