Default PM\'s

is there some way to verify if someone sent/did not send a PM?
hypothetically if i made a post in a thread that el diablo is sending me PM's asking me to be his boyfriend and he won't stop what would his recourse be?

obv no one is going to believe that someone as good looking and charming as el diablo would have to solicit the likes of me but just for arguements sake.

Speaking from a mod's pov, there doesn't seem to be a way, other than by sending TexasRed to visit you and have a look around your box.

I would expect that Admins could find out the truth more easily.

Hypothetically speaking, his recourse would be to choose from banning yo' ass out of here, as taught in modschool basic strategy by [censored]; to refer you to BBV4L to write about your deviancy, per GW's tactics; or to ask you to post about it several times in TLDR, as suggested by Carter.

I see you chose to use iron's recommendation to start an ATF thread.

Every PM you sent, but not those you received, even after you delete them, are stored on 2+2's servers and can be retrieved, at least a couple years back I think. Thus an admin could verify if someone sent a PM, but not that someone receieved one. The admins can correct me if I got some of that wrong.

I think once the database is optimized, deleted PMs are truly lost.

Think harder... (I'm not sure what I'm allowed to say about this, so I'll leave it at that)

well then it would be great if one of the admins could put an end to a string of smear posts in total insanity
this thread.

I dont have to think harder Sniper... I verified it as fact. The question is when the database is optimized, I have no idea how often that is done.
