TT vs coordinated flop (live 80+20, taj)
weekday afternoon 80+20 at taj, about 25 remaining.
I'm new to table (about 5 hands in) and haven't played a hand yet. blind 100/200, my stack 8k, probably about average. I open-raise TcTs in MP1 to 600, MP2 (4k behind), CO (4k), button (2k) and BB (12k) call. flop (t3100) 8d 6d 5s BB bets 1000 My first instinct is that I hate the big stack leading into this coordinated board with 4 players to act. I may still be ahead, and I'm not crazy about dumping an overpair, but this is a horrible board, and I've got no redraws. reads, for what they're worth: BB looked like, with a mountain of chips, he was happy to gamble it up. |

I move in here, yea you might have to dodge a draw or combo draw but you can't fold because your hand is too strong and you can't call because theres like a million scary turn cards.

Agreed, i move in, BB i would give credit to something like 87 here, top pait and open ended. Your push is approximately 7400 which would represent 60% of his stack, not sure how he would feel about calling that with a draw, i think if he had better a larger bet would have been placed, Stinks if he calls/outdraws you etc. I;m not super worried about stacks after you as if you push, shorter stack wins but you beat the large stack you still have around the same size stack.

i think a push here is correct. you can't really fold here given all the draws he could have and just calling here is terrible with all the players left yet to act and all the bad cards that can turn.
