Is raising to $9 and then calling a shove a bad play?

Im really not sure ,

IMO fold and call would be the worst !

so raising is the only oppertunity ?!?

calling a shove to ?!? (knowing that you are far behind )

raised multiwaypots at broadway flops always hard to play ...

With the raise your repping AK, might you not take it down here? trust me I am not 100% here either, calling just seems weak?, no

how about calling once, letting a blank come off, letting any draw have its equity drop, and see what he does on the turn.

ok ,
if called and the -BB shoves - UTG raises - Icould get away,
maybe just calling BB shoves , if UTG folds
looks better to me ...

It is less important that it be cheap than that we remain ahead of his range, but cheap and ahead of his range go hand-in-hand here, so calling is clearly the right move.

Don't be so caught up in the 'aggressive poker is winning poker' thing that you get in situations where you only get called by better hands all the time.
