Default Dealing with multiway callers - 10/20 NLH Live New York Game

I live a lot of the year in NY and play in some medium stakes NLH games at private clubs (5/5, 10/20, 10/25 etc).

In NY people play mainly very LAG and are willing to see multiway raised pots (some 9 handed tables see regular 6-7 way pots).

I have tried playing every which way but super LAG and seem unless I base the night purely on coin toss luck am not sure which way to approach.....

Note my best wins have all come when I get the action heads up but to do so often one needs to put 25-35% equity on the table in marginal situations....

Any suggestions against multi-way LAG players

see alot of flops with speculative hands suited connectors, small pairs suited aces etc. avoid big cards like KTo, ATo etc.
make small pot-sweetener raises with speculative hands in position and very large raises with your big pairs (mix that up just a little bit for example make it 20bb with 67s then try to show down your hand)
try to flop the nuts or a draw to the nuts and dont overvalue top-pair.

True. If you can find a way to flop the nuts repeatedly, this game should be very +EV. I think the key is to try very hard. You have to repeat silently to yourself, "flop the nuts, flop the nuts, flop the nuts" before the flop is spread. You'd be amazed how often I flop quads with this approach.

I have a hard time finding a thinking man's game in NY because of the gamble gamble approach and it doesnt seem to matter what I flop as there are enough river rats to make it impossible to get folks off of hands.

Never have this problem in Vegas only northern east coast and I suck on-line (no reads)

pretty solid advice here for your situation, i think. the key to playing aggressive deepstack games is to play hands that can make the nuts (particularly if its concealed a little), and play them in position. Stick with pocket pairs, suited aces, suited connectors/onegappers, and maybe some unsuited connectors, and you'll be in good shape.
