Default ($335) My first KK preflop fold ever in sng?

CO is lagtard. Which means button is wide. But SB has been solid from the little I've been paying attention.

I was two tabling so I wan't paying much attention

It's not real exciting but you have to call IMO.

So...if CO is a lagtard, button probably knows this and is pushing a wider range. SB probably knows button probably knows CO is a lagtard and is probably calling a wider range, for 2/3 of his effective stack (vul. for all to lagtard, but he knows he probably raised [censored] and is folding).

KK crushes button's range. CO is calling AA, KK, QQ, prob. JJ, maybe hands like AK and TT, maybe he'll surprise you with a few others. I'd say you crush button's range, and do very well against SB's. If either has AA, tip your cap and fire up another SNG.

IMO, folding KK PF is generally pretty bad unless you have very player-specific info (i.e. limp, tightish player raises, nit RR/pushes and other nit pushes).

And there don't seem to be any real stack particulars, like if UTG had 300 chips or something - since SB probably beats CO most of the time, folding pretty much gets you at least 20% for 3rd, etc. (not that folding would necessarily be correct in that spot).

If SB is solid then he knows the other two are loose, which means he doesnt necessarily have to have AA. He could be doing this with QQ or maybe even AK or JJ. If he is pushing these hands, it looks like a fist pumping call. I have a feeling you posted this because you folded and SB had AA though

Buttons range: 88+, AJ+
SB's range: JJ+, AK. Maybe it's tighter but that would be my range vs a decent button.

Even if SB's range is only QQ+ there's enough overlay to make the call. I don't like the argument about CO calling increases our chance at 3rd since CO is obviously way behind SB's range.
