100NL Flopped a set on 2-flush board
My image is loose-aggressive and very aggresive with draws. In a previous hand I stacked a player with $70 or so by r/r AI on a flush draw with two overs (AQ), flush came on the turn. I wanted this overbet push to look like a flush draw. I think a moderate raise here folds out more hands than my push (looks scarier IMO), and I can't flat call on such a draw-heavy board in a multiway pot.
Mikalina said she folded two pair and I believe here. I really thought a hand like that would call, unless she was scared I would outdraw here. Again with my image and the previous hand, it's just very likely I'm drawing here. Re: 100NL Flopped a set on 2-flush board
Alright I'll bite.
First of all, I think you should raise this preflop. Any hand I enter UTG is for a raise, limping imo makes it far to easy for others behind you to play against you. As played your overbet is scaring out all other hands that you want in. Obv any hand better is going to call. And worse hands wont draw or call such an overbet. I think you should of raised to like $25 and if you got called, put in a larger size bet on the turn that could potentially comitt stacks on the river (given non scare card falls) to be sure that IF your villian is drawing, he doesnt have good enough odds to get paid off IF he does hit. This hand is basically an extaction hand vs. worse hands or draws. OBV is better hands will call your push and worse hands won't, you shouldn't be shoving. Raise a little and try to intise the villian in to chase a losing hand or bad odds for a draw. |
