Like or Dislike Partys Blind Structure??
Anyone have opinions on the new blind structure? I know that JaxGrinder made it deep in last nights Friday Special. Is the new structure good for TAGs or LAGs??

Re: Like or Dislike Partys Blind Structure??
The blind structure is deceiving in my opinion for SNG. I played a simple $22 tournament and measured the blinds. This tournament I had no cards or couldnt play mine and had to make a deperation play rather quickly. On PS I know I would not be in that zone at the same interval of time.
I still favor PS for SNGs. More value for the chips. Party ------ Poker Stars t2000 ------ t1500 10m rds ------ 9m rds 20/40 ------ 10/20 30/60 ------ 15/30 50/100 ------ 25/10 100/200 ------ 50/100 200/400 ------ 75/150 http://www.texasholdempoker-stats.com/ |

Not deep enough!
I like the new structure. the extra 20 bb in the first level is sweet and, at least for now, it seems that a lot of players are making very loose, very bad calls post-flop early. I shifted by typical TAG-early strategy, opening with a wider range of hands, on the belief that the implied odds made by such calls would pay off. I think the structure favors LAGers and accumulators over TAGers and survivors. |

New structure is better, especially for supers and weekend specials.

The thing I've noticed about the new structure is an abundance of people who have fun with the slider. The first tournament I played I was like "wtf is up with all these really really weird bets?" Then I figured it out - fun with the slider. I like the structure, but just like stars, I hate that 800 to 1200 jump. Pure evil. |
