Re: 25nl: 10s in a re-raised multiway
The call preflop is marginal. Most people don't reraise anything but big pairs, particularly here against UTG raiser, at 25NL so you are strictly in for set value, and BB has less than 100BB and his reraise is BIIIIIG.
As played, that is a brutal flop. UTG probably has AK at minimum here, JJ is very possible though. With AK he is probably bet-folding, JJ he isn't going anywhere. AQ seems pretty unlikely for either of them probably, fwiw. I also think a club draw is very unlikely here. This means you can theoretically call UTG's bet to see what BB does (and importantly what UTG does in response) and I don't think many turns are scare cards except Q's and A's. The line you took is also fine but I think you do have to fold if BB raises and UTG comes along. However if BB shoves and UTG folds I might consider calling since people are bad and can't fold AA. Sick spot. Edited to add: The crazy thing here is even best case scenario, when BB has AA and shoves, he still has 6 outs and possibly a backdoor flush draw. However, when he has KK, you are drawing to one out. To make matters worse, he may have KK more often when he shoves, since it is possible he is decent enough to fold AA to your raise. This is a really bad situation. |

Boredom, I don't play at Absolute and I don't play NL25, but I strongly suspect that you vastly overestimate the tightness of a UTG open raise at NL25 6m.

Boredom-
I kinda disagree. I would have reraised the initial $.75 bet. As played you have odds to look for a set pre-flop, not your happy UTG is in as well. Your flop play is good. This flop is not super pretty for your set, but your good here enough to call a shove. You'll see 2 pair, a flush draw, AK, AA, or some other terrible hand call you down, esp at nl$25 |

[/ QUOTE ] Possibly, but the range for UTG that I have remarked on is far more specific than just "opening"; it is the hands which will open, call a reraise, then bet this flop. |
