NL10 15k hands
I understand this is a small sample, but can anyone critique my stats if thats possible. As far as the way I play, I think maybe I'm limping too much and possibly not attempting to steal enough. Also, maybe my go to showdown is a little low?? I appreciate any comments, thanks in advance.

Re: NL10 15k hands
Your VP$P seems really high in comparison to your preflop raise. Preflop aggression helps win pots.

Re: NL10 15k hands
VPIP is ok.
VPIP on SB is ok, maybe a little high. Folded BB, im not sure, but looks too low. Your not playing 26% of your hands from BB are you? Steal attempt way too low. Big leak. Won$WSF is good, your either running well or plaing well postflop. SD stats are normal. PF raise is very bad. Should be 20 with this VPIP. Big leak. I think your flop AF is a little too high. Turn AF is too low. Turn AF should be bigger than flops. To sum up. Understand position. Tighten up the blinds. Raise a lot more preflop, especially from the button. Be slightly less aggressive on the flop/more on the turn. Realize this. There are two ways to win money in poker. First is by hitting hands. Second is by betting. In reality big hands dont happen that often. Most of the time nobody even has a hand. Fish plays to hit hands. Thats why they loose. Poker players play to bet things. If they bet more often than fish hits, they make money. By betting preflop you eliminate competition for the flop action. When there are 6 people seeing the flop, you can be sure someone has hit hard and your betting is not going to work. When its heads up, you can be sure he missed. |

Re: NL10 15k hands
Turn AF should really be higher than flop? Mine is much lower as well. My flop AF is high and my cbets still take down a lot of pots. My turn AF is lower because i check call with weaker hands with showdown value. Is this really that bad.

Re: NL10 15k hands
My flop AF is 3, and my turn AF is around 1, but I'm new at NL cash games and only have a few thousand hands.

Re: NL10 15k hands
At these stakes you should be playing fewer hands, and raising more. Somewhere around 19-21/15-18ish is probably optimal.
Search for Pokey's post on analyzing PT stats. It's probably in the sticky. |
