Where are the good LLNL games around Reno/Tahoe
Where are the cardrooms with the best selection of low limit Holdem games around Reno/Tahoe.
I like to play Limit Holdem at $4-$8 or so and also No Limit with up to a $5 big blind. I will be there in early June and would like to visit a Casino that has several games to choose from. Are there any rooms as busy as the Bellagio or Red Rock station in Vegas? It looks like I will have Monday and Tuesday in Reno then Wednesday through Sunday in the Tahoe area. I will have a car while at Tahoe. In Reno I will be stuck with taxi's. My only trip to the Reno area was a midweek stay at the Peppermill Casino. While the poker room there is nice and the people friendly, they only had a couple of dead $4-$8 games going. I am hoping to find the games with more action and excitement. Thanks in advance for your comments. |

I was there for 4 days recently and didn't bother to play much. Sun/Mon/Tues of my trip there were usually 1 or 2 NL games going and maybe 4 limit games going (2/4, 3/6, 4/8, and 10/20, 1 of each), but the games seemed quite tight from playing in and watching them. To each his own on that one but it's definately not LA style of loosey goosey play. |
