This is a tight spot - primarily because you've played this hand so passively. You just call p/f, check call flop, check/min raise/call turn. You have no idea where you're at because you never put him to any sort of test before the river. The way that the turn played out, he could have 99 or TT in his hand, or he could have A2 with an over pair. You probably don't get a worse hand to call if you lead out, so I guess you check/call if he bets small, check/fold if he pots it. Again, if you played more aggressively earlier in the hand you'd have a better read.

PS - I don't play short handed PLO8 much, so my read of his range of hands could easily be off.

Checkraise is way too weak on the turn, but it might work to your advantage because he will likely put you on a hand like A25, so I'd bet something like 1/3 pot to make it look like you are bluff/stealing the river. I'm hoping for a call here, it would be extremely unlikely that he will have you beat here, but very likely that he will call you with a pocket pair if you price him in.

Should have potted the flop. Likely holdings for opponent are A2xx and AAxx I would assume, and you're in pretty good shape against both most of the time. This would also add to the pressure if you potted the turn on a blank (which I would also do if villain only called your flop bet).

As played, I would check/call river. Normally I would value bet but the minreraise on the turn makes me nervous.

How big are the blinds?

Button raises 3 BB

Is that a total of 3 BB or 4 BB?

What do you hope to accomplish with a baby check raise on the turn?

I was hopping a river like an Ace would hit, I was putting him on a low draw. Or even my full house.
Well I checked the river, he went all in.
I hesitated but called.
He had Ace high with A23X.

And it should have been raises 3BB to 4BB
