Default need help dealing with min raises 10NL Part 1

6 handed nl 10NL

VERY loose table full of Stations villian in the hand is only person ive seen play somewhat tight but only tight in comparison to the rest of the table he's running around 30/10/1.5 over about 45 hands

hero and villian have ~125BB
limped to Hero on the button hero limps with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
SB compleats Villian is in the BB and checks.

Flop is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

check to hero who bets pot
BB min raises
folds to hero who calls

turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
villian bets 1 dollar
Hero calls

River J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Villian bets 1 dollar
hero calls

Thoughts on all streets please
preflop I thought limping is ok here cause table is so loose and I am IP.
Feel like a should have put in a big raise somwhere but villians line was so wierd I wasnt sure what to do.

If he was drawing I let him draw cheeply
But I was putting him on a monater after flop c/minraise

Villains raises 99/88, only 22 beats you. There is only 1 99 combination and 1 88 combinations, so I would ignore those.

Villain might be drawing to a flush or straight. Given his weak turn bet it doesn't look like he has flopped a set. You basicly flopped the nuts, so reraise big there.

Need to 3bet that flop, try and get all the money in. Very good board for top 2.

With villain being BB he could have all kinds of stuff here, including 82 and 92. I would put in a fairly hefty 3-bet here and push the turn if it's around pot sized.

I think ive been too concerned with getting max value from everything my thinking was that either he had a monster or not much/weak made hand and a big raise would just cause him to fold a hand that would pay me off on the end but this board is so wet I think I should have raised big somewhere on the flop/turn?

Is there ever really a bad board for top 2?

Don't worry about getting value when your hand could be outdrawn. You need to get as much money in as fast as possible. If you play all your made hands fast, you will get looked up more from weaker hands who think you are bluffing.

Nah. I'd still be pushing against your average opponent.
