Re: 3.4 - call push with aq ? bubble
can you explain why?
i figured since there is t1400 deadmoney in the pot a coinflip is profitable and since he is pushing like any ace+kq we are nearly always i good shape, but if you say that i have to have an error in my thinking process. |

Re: 3.4 - call push with aq ? bubble
Well it all matters what his range is. I ran it through SNGPT and I get a call at -0.5% if hes raising with a range of 22+, A2s+, A30+, KTs+, KJ0+,QJs+, which is a pretty wide range.
Since your on the bubble your calling range here should be like TT+, AK. Now if you think his range is any two, then this could be a +EV call. |

Re: 3.4 - call push with aq ? bubble
thank you for running it through sngpt.
i don't really understand the result though. it's better for us if a bigger % of his pushing ranges are aces, and holdings containing queens.. intuitively.. right? |

Re: 3.4 - call push with aq ? bubble
Am I way off for instacalling here? You aren't even a whole BB ahead of the shorty and its 400/800 so you only have 3.5BB. Not to mention if you get a chance to shove over the blinds the big stack is included. People push insanely wide (incorrectly) UTG with big blinds, especially in a $3.40.
Someone please enlighten me. |

Re: 3.4 - call push with aq ? bubble
I instacall this too for the reasons kevin stated. In a 3.4 they are pushing weaker aces here alllll dayyyyy.
