Easier to tilt playing online or live? Poll

ok this is my first poll and I think its an interesting subject, I have found that its easier for me to control tilt while I am playing live for somereason! I think it maybe because I multitable when I am playing online and that way a few bad beats right after another could put me on tilt easily, also when I play live I get to pickup tells and see the person infront of me which helps alot plus I have to put real money in physically so I tend to become less of a maniac after a cooler or a bad beat.....

what is everyone elses experience!

I would say online because the hands come around so much quicker. Live, you have some time to think between hands.

Live you could have 5 minutes to cool off before making another decision. You might have 5 seconds online.

Isn't this just common sense?

increased speed of play + more hands/hr. + more bad beats = more tilt.

Throw in multi-tabling and the fact that you're usually alone at your computer and it's no contest.

i tilt much harder online. easy to reload. easy to move in. easy to dump tons of money.

I tilt doing both. It is hard for me to compare the two because I get more tilt-causing hands per hour online, but there are more reasons to tilt when playing live. For example, Live I sometimes tilt when the village idiot refuses to shut up about his bad beat, and/or starts talking politics, etc. Online this is not an issue since you can just turn off the chat, if you even had it on in the first place. I also tend to get more emotionally invested in hand results live for some reason. Online, its easier for me to blow off short-term results.

true to somepoint robispo, but live has its potential problems i guess, easy to get a couple of drinks in and then want to spew/gamble alittle more, or get bored when you are card dead and start bluffing at pots you shouldnt be bluffing at!

IMO, getting drunk and playing crazy donk 2/4 limit live with friends isn't really tilt.

online for me. I cuss a storm up, insult the other players and call them naughty names that would make a nun blush.

Live play i just tolerate the bad beats, I guess if you know who's beating you, it's not as bad..

live i can get more frustrated easily, people can talk stupid crap and its easier to notice all the chips leaving your stack and u just cant click a button and replace the chips. Also its harder to just get up and take a break and scream and cuss and let out the frustration. But overall im pretty good at controlling tilt, but live im def worse at it.
