I drink Xyience energy drinks. Xyience is great because it makes me punch harder and every time I pop the top, half-naked chicks come out of nothing and start dancing sexy in front of me. All of this because of Xyience. Xyience?

I was using this as the base for a PWO shake...I liked it a lot. Much better than 80g straight dextrose....

I've read that the sugar in fruit juice isn't very good for PWO. Mostly fructose which has a lower glycemic index and doesn't cause much of an insulin response. Am I wrong?

You're right.

No, you are not wrong. Fructose does not do a good job of spiking insulin levels because it is digested more slowly in the liver, from what I understand. It replenishes liver glycogen energy stores, but I don't think it does much for muscle glycogen stores.
