4/180 AKs line check
I'm pretty sure I played this horribly. Do I c-bet this flop (I don't usually like to c-bet when I'm OOP)? Also villain's min-raise on the turn threw me off a little not sure what that means. I'm also looking for help putting the villain on a hand here.

Re: 4/180 AKs line check
Looks pretty standard except I would raise to at least 100 preflop.

Re: 4/180 AKs line check
early in 4/180 range for utg+1 is huge imo...j8-j10, q8-qj, k8-kq, a6-a9, 22-99. Who the heck knows what else.
Personally I make it 100 to go with his limp (but that might be splitting hairs early) and put in a cb of 200 to pot. As played i might raise the turn 120 depending on how many makers on the rocks deep i am, only for a bluff and fold to 3 bet, but call the river bet as i am a calling station and very interested bystander, not to mention 3.5 to 1 and he may have been bluffing q and missed his str8 draw. Yes i am a horrible player, but trying to learn and post a few responses. |

Re: 4/180 AKs line check
I'd shove PF (although I didn't used to).
Anyhow the rest of your line looks fine. |

[/ QUOTE ] LOL at taking down the 50 chips right now. It's own of those last bet things. If I keep betting with a good hand, eventually even really bad villain's fold. But if I only give them one chance to make a decision, he has a lot less info. BTW, this only really works in 4/180s. People can't fold AQ PF...and a whole lot of other garbage. I've been called with KJ and KT here PF before. |

[/ QUOTE ] that is where i was trying to get you too. You are usually a very thorough poster and the original seemed to be missing a reason. I took it upon myself to add the humor aspect. I push here on occasion as well only to be looked up in a race situation at worst. |
