Trying to block your river with possibly a smaller flush, even thought it is really big. But still you have to raise him if he has it he has it and that would be pretty sick, but still I think if he did have it, why bet so much on the river?

maybe he has a str8 flush (3 possible). In addition, the 4th flush card may convince him that a nut str8 is good here. Finally, maybe he's just not that good.
