get the string back in if it falls out?

i think a paperclip would work better, just wrap it around, and inch it through, the hanger could rip the sweatshirt

Safety pin works better. Stick the pin through the knot or else it might tear/fray the string. If the string doesn't have a knot then fold the string over. Work it through.

I always just stuck it back in and kind of push pulled it back through with my hands. I got skillz.

When I buy drawstring stuff I take the two ends of the cord and tie them together. Then this never happens.

(doesn't work with zip ups tho)
