Re: bet/call or check behind?
i bet most of the time here, not sure if this is maybe a spot to have a balanced strategy. If a guy autobets any time I check behind I mix in a ck behind and call UI here and there.

i think you should check, pretty sure you're a dog here and he's never folding a better hand.

Re: bet/call or check behind?
i don't think we're that big of a dog, and i think getting valuetowned or folding the best hand to a river bet is a bigger factor than the fraction of a bet we lose betting the turn. i do also agree with you that he's never folding a better hand. there are just so many worse hands he can call with on this board. any two overs with a diamond, a gutshot, etc.

Re: bet/call or check behind?
Curious why you guys think hero is a dog here. There's like a million hands he could have, that his still ahead of, and when behind he has a lot of outs. I bet, and I don't think it's close.

Tho I am not so sure Hero is a dog, thats a pretty drawy board and villain is peeling all sorts of crap on the flop. |

Re: bet/call or check behind?
I think the turn is a bet. He just called preflopp and didnt cap when he got the chance so that leaves out a lot of the best stuff. He just c/c the flop, so it really looks like he have:
KQ,KJ,KT,QJ,JTs,AJ,AT,A9 - hands like that, many with a diamond that might bet into oss on the river if it hits and we can raise. Those hands we are ahead of so I just like a bet here and take the free showdown, becouse Im defently going to invest one more bet and like bet the turn more than callin the river. |

Re: bet/call or check behind?
With no reads but the action thus far betting looks a clear choice.
1) It is a big pot. 2) He might call drawing very slim (4 outs) 3) You can check UI if he calls. 4) You are not going to get raised often. |
