Default Dead money coming to Vegas (LC)

Dead money (or live, depends on how you look at it) coming to Vegas Memorial day weekend. Arriving Sun for a week.

Has the Wynn become the room of choice for those here, or is Bellagio still the place? Playing limit and NL.

Try them both. If you're there for a week, I'm sure you'll have time. See for yourself and decide which you prefer: the luxurious atmosphere and semi-juicy games of the Wynn, or the super-juicy games but crowded, long-wait annoyances of Bellagio.

I'm there starting tomorrow (Wed. 9th) until Monday. Anybody up for a low-limit mixed game Magoo-fest? PM if you have any ideas - I'll try and check back here Thurs. and Fri. Good luck!

I'll also be there Memorial Day also 25th-28th. Staying at Ballys($99 a night woo hoo) so most of my play is gonna be at Bellagio and Mirage. I kinda hope theres not a lot of posters on this forum there. There's softer spots that the average reader of this forum.

Depending on your limit... both have very good 15 games. However, the Bellagio still has the most consistent and lively 30 game in town. I just got back yesterday from a week out there. Also, I didn't think the waits at the Bellagio were too bad either. I got in the games immediately every time I arrived.

Also, just don't even bother trying the Mirage!! Complete waste of time.

I don't know what stakes you play, but there is a significant change in game from 30/60 to 60/120. I couldn't believe it. It goes from nearly 4 players per flop to most hands having no flop. I played the 60 game for a 3 day stretch at Bellagio and won't do it again. I think any player, no matter how skilled, could make more at the 30/60 than the 60/120 game there.

The 15/30 games seem to play like lower stakes holdem games around the country. I played 15/30 while on waiting lists for bigger games and often found myself sorry that I left them.
