NL100; how terrible was this hand played?
villain: 66.67/16.67/3/45.45 over only 18 hands
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) Hero ($123.85) MP ($125) Button ($225.75) SB ($109.95) BB ($107.75) Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $4, 3 folds, BB calls $3. Final Pot: $171.35 On the one hand I'm feeling that I have misplayed this hand on every street besides preflop but on the other hand I don't know how I could play this hand singnificantly better. Ok, I could just throw away the hand after the flop minraise but I thought that there is a big possibility that I'm not behind; also the turn bet was pretty small from villain. What do you guys think about this hand what is the best play? |

Re: NL100; how terrible was this hand played?
best would be fold flop
you can be very happy that he folded ... usually this is a very big hand [edit] oh, you hit on the river ... anyway bad calls on flop and turn^^ |

Re: NL100; how terrible was this hand played?
So, we know that villain is either on a severe rush or insane. I would side with insane, and therefore be prone to raise his weak turn bet to $30 - $35 or thereabouts. If he pushes, meh, I dunno. If he just calls, he's more likely to call when gin hits on the river.

OP, you played it fine, i wouldnt put too much thoguht into the guys stats over such a small sample. Sometimes i fold flop sometimes i fold turn, but you did fine. |

Re: NL100; how terrible was this hand played?
i think your flop call is pretty gross, as is your turn call.
especially after only 18 hands. river is standard of course, you have a full house. |
