Flop call = good.

Turn = close eyes and call.

Blah. I often raise flop becuase I am a LAG and will stack UTG's AJ often, but yeah, it's fine. What possible reason would there ever be for folding?

Seriously what.

Why ever call an UTG preflop raise with 22, if you are not going to get allin on this board?

It is more likely he has AK than AA, so just get allin.

He could easily have AK there, I would call.

Here is a hand I played last night that I really think I should have gotten away from on the turn.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP2 ($193.75)
MP3 ($202.05)
CO ($197.25)
Button ($205)
SB ($109.70)
BB ($185.40)
UTG ($200)
Hero ($197)
MP1 ($198)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J, J.
UTG raises to $9, Hero calls $9, 1 fold, MP3 calls $9, 4 folds.

Flop: ($30) J, 6, Q (4 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $25, MP3 folds, UTG calls $25.

Turn: ($80) 2 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $75, UTG raises to $150, Hero raises to $238 (All-In), UTG calls $13

OP, there are times when you can fold a set. This is not one of them. Not even close, actually.

Call turn and get in in by any means possible on any river.

Edited to add JHill, can't see suits in your HH. Unless there's a flush out there is one hand that beats you. If you "get away" from that you are hemorrhaging value.

I probably should have mentioned that the villian was a 10/8/3 12 tabler. His check call on the flop should have been a red flag, and I really feel like I should have slowed down and made a half pot sized bet on the turn where I could still have some room. I don't think this villian takes this line with any hand other than QQ or JJ and JJ is impossible.

Given his stats he is no where near nitty enough to narrow his range down to QQ only unless you have some other read or history with him.
