[ QUOTE ] Call and raise allin or bet near-pot on non-spade non-king turn [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] if he had a made flush, why the heck would h lead that flop instead of check-raising? set seems possible but this smells more like top pair to me. |

[/ QUOTE ] because a c/r is infinatley stronger than a lead here (obv). i'd say a c/r narrows his range to flush/set/top pair+nutflush draw and folds hands like AA(no [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]). a lead, on the other hand, can be top pair (with or without FD), FD, set, 2pr, made flush, bluff. it open's up the range sufficiently to get AA to continue in the hand when drawing almost dead. though only thing i'll say is i don't think he pots the flop with a flush, but he could with 56[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s for example, hoping to charge higher [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s. |
