I'm hoping you are joking.
They probably have a rakeback deal arranged with Party. So, yeah, probably something in the millions of dollars. That said, Party had no reason to make this deal back in the day. |

Party wouldn't have had to make any sort of "deal." 2p2 would just be an affiliate same as any other signing up tons of players. They would just have to eat the cost of some books to do it. |

2p2 could've been an affiliate for most of the sites from the beginning. They could've had reviews of the sites & traffic trackers like pokersitescout & the big affiliate sites. They didn't and it cost them, what, I dunno, $10M ? Probably more. They also easily could've gotten in the coaching/video service business and dominated that which would've made them another fortune.

It is interesting to think about how much money 2p2 has lost, and will lose, because of the UIGEA. I'm afraid to make even a guess, but I'd assume it will, when all is said and done, but reaching eight figures.

Mason had the opportunity to be an affiliate years ago and turned it down due to certain legal restrictions in Nevada.
It's possible now because the deal isn't for U.S. players. |
