Re: NL10 - Villain cbets on A high flop
Against that many callers, he's got an Ace 90% of the time or at least KK or QQ and now puking. Either way your 8s are no good here except for a bluff, dump em!

Fold. When facing a preflop raiser on a 4way A hi flop and he bets, I believe him. More often than not it's Ax.

Did you see that he was a 19/13/7?
His c-bet is automatic and means almost nothing. He raises with 13% of hands, so I'd put his range at AJo+, ATs+, 44+, 4d5d+, QdTd+. You can still fold as you are still behind his range. That's if these stats are good. Over how many hands? |

Re: NL10 - Villain cbets on A high flop
It can't be over that many hands. I don't think I have ever seen and AF that high after more than 100 hands. I mean that is like calling once for every nine actions or something like that.

[ QUOTE ]
Did you see that he was a 19/13/7? [/ QUOTE ] The 7 AF could mean he's very aggressive, or it could mean he only bets when he's got it and folds the rest. Is there still confusion over how this is calculated? As long as he only bets/raises/checks/folds his aggression factor will be infinite. Only calling lowers the aggression. |

Re: NL10 - Villain cbets on A high flop
You still have 2 players left to act as well. Easy fold

Re: NL10 - Villain cbets on A high flop
He is not very confident as placing a small bet and is not costing much to pay and see at least another card. As is a downcard game unlike stud hi only you have to think the other two 8s are in the deck so see his cheap bet and do try to make either 2 pairs or 3 8s by the end of the hand

Re: NL10 - Villain cbets on A high flop
Grunch
While he might not have the A here, which I would actually give him credit for betting into 3 people, one of the other two might. You don't want to get stuck in the middle of a raising war. This is an easy fold mostly because there are two people to act after you and you are not drawing to anything usefull. If you are going to call BS on someone wait until you get a heads up situation. |
