Call me crazy but i'd have folded the reraise, and I wouldn't have overbet the flop. A bet of around $35 would have done the trick, and when the other guy shoved I'd be expecting to see KK or AA a lot in this case.

Well he minraised pf and called your 4bet so he definitely has something, right? I would say this is coinflip against 45/15, sometimes he has KK/AA but as often he'll show JJ/AK etc.

KK/AA shoves pf, i doubt an unknown is going to get tricky when i am 4 betting.

with that said, i like my overbet...

He's not going to reraise a $55 bet with A K, not a hope. That means you're only hope is against a smaller pair, and I don't think he's going to shove with J J or T T.

I'd be very sure I was beat in this situation, but by betting $55 you've completely committed yourself to calling an all-in. A $35 bet would have still given you a way out, while still having the same effect. The overbet was definitely a mistake IMO, I don't see any advantages to it.

do people suck this bad? what are u guys putting him on that has us beat. from op's description he cant have aa or kk and if he calls 1/6 of his stack with a hand that hit this board even if we stack off everytime he hits we're still playing mathematically correct poker. I think you're splitting or hes drawing extremely slim (2-6 outs). if you take away the caveat that he cant have aa or kk i probably fold this since he minraised an utg raise and then called ur 4bet which generally signifies an amazing amount of stregnth. that being said, i honestly dont think your line matters, i think he has either 77 or went bananas with like 1010 and the money was going in regartdless of how much u bet op.

45/15 5bet/shoves AA/KK all day pf..

Leaving us 88-QQ/AK

Why overbet? To be perceived as a donk/maniac. Since the guy called without odds of hitting set, I'm pretty sure he is going broke with any overpair.

And for those that said fold this pf? Wow, have you ever played more than 1k hands above nl25?

Well can I ask what the villain was actually holding. I'm assuming you were beat and that's why you're posting here, although tell me if I'm wrong.
