Default Sportsbook.com wire transfer arrives **REJOICE**

Requested a cashout via wire trasfer on 4/3/07

On 4/17/07 Sportsbook.com emails me and asks for bank account verification. I email them a scanned voided check the same day.

On 4/28/07 I get an email that my wire has been sent

This morning, 5/4/07, I check my bank account and see the money is in there minus a $12 international wire trasfer fee imposed from my bank.

Took a month, but at least I got my $$$

I also requested a check on 4/23/07. Got an email on 5/2/07 that it had been sent out.

I will update this thread when it arrives.

Lightning has struck!!!!!! Well not really but something even more unlikely has happened: I got paid by sportbook.com.

Jesus what a load off my mind man. Details in case anyone is still waiting:

Date requested: April 8th by bank wire
Date Processed: May 1st (yes this isn't a typo)
Date received: This morning (May 8th)

Even though I got my money they have a long way to go to win me back as a customer. Their CS is horrible and all they do is feed you lie after lie on the phone. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as the moment, but I will give them props for coming through on their word. Best of Luck to anyone still waiting on money from them.

If anyone has any post-UIGEA expectations that money will move quickly between foreign gambling companies and U.S. financial institutions....well you need to find another hobby/occupation. You're living in a fantasy-land. Adapt.....manage your bankroll appropriately to anticipate these hangups when sites lose their processors.

Update on my check request

Requested the check on 4/23/07

On 5/3/07 I get an email stating it has been sent via DHL

On 5/9/07 I have a DHL package waiting on my doorstep with my check

The check came from Las Vegas and is written on Nevada State Bank paper

Yeah but my problem with sportsbook.com was that I wasn't sure I was going to get the money. If this delay had come at PokerStars then I wouldn't have been worried one bit. There were tons of rumors floating around that sportsbook was going under and there are still people out there waiting on cash-outs from mid March. I do agree with you though, the days of the 2 day cash-outs are over.
