Jeez, I didn't even know AC had direct commercial service, I thought you had to fly into Philly.

Airport is 15 mins from the Borg. Head west instead of east when getting off the GSP onto the AC Turnpike. I've been there before to rent a car just to drive to Newark Airport - a true nightmare to get to any other way from AC.

Why would anyone want to commute between those two cities? It seems like AC is about the last spot from where someone would want to fly to Vegas, and the reverse is even more true.

Let me guess - your a low limit player? If so, then your right from a gambling POV. For high limit players this is a dream come true. But your also missing the tons of business travel that happens between the cities, and now there is an alternative choice for people in Delaware and NJ to fly to the west coast (Vegas is the #2 stopover destination in the US)

Spirit just started this a few months back. I booked my flights RT Vegas this summer with non-stop flights on Spirit out of AC.

I have several friends who fly out of Atlantic City vs. Newark Airport and say the AC airport is really personable, and alot less chaotic -- not to mention short term parking is only $13 a day.

So for those of us that haven't played in LV or AC, are you saying that there are high stakes games in AC, LV, or that they bounce back and forth? Also, are they of the limit or NL variety?

Yes. In fact the biggest game for a little while was in AC (7k/14k). Ted Forest, David Sklansky and a bunch of other formerly east-coast players have always gone back and forth looking for the best game. You will start to see the 100/200 set exploring both coasts, and its also great for tournament players, the Borg should do much better now (as if they hd problems keeping busy) and their new Water Club opens up in Q1 next year.
