Guy was basically an unknown.
Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $0 UTG+1: $60.85 CO: $519.55 Button: $270.95 SB: $108.35 Hero: $130.10 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG+1 calls, CO folds, Button calls, SB calls, Hero checks. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($4, 5 players) SB checks, Hero bets $4, UTG+1 calls. Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($12, 3 players) Hero bets $12, UTG+1 calls. River: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($36, 3 players) Hero checks, UTG+1 bets $18, Hero folds. Uncalled bets: $18 returned to UTG+1. Results: Final pot: $36 I put him on a straight draw the whole way and I couldn't think of many that card didn't complete. The half-pot river bet on Full Tilt is always the nuts in my experience, but then again I've used it to bluff people before. I just didn't want to pay off for once in my life. What do you think, standard? Marginal? Weaktight? |

God damnit... now that I'm actually paying attention to him I see that this guy is a spewmonkey. Chances of him having 2 pair or bottom set just went WAY up =/

Nice fold. He propably has a straight. Sometimes in these kind of situations I just stupidly tend to convince to myself that the other guy just hit top 2-pair and call...which is a losing play most of the time.

Really would like some more opinions here if anyone has time.

Yeah I think you have to fold this to this bet that card fits a widerange of hands that beats you, and I don't think it is profitable to make this call IMO.
But if you say this guy is very aggressive and loose, I'd say that he could be easily bluffing, because what I notice from aggressive players is that once you show a sign of weakness like the check on river, they just bet pot. |

the only thing i'd be worried about is if he had TTP and is betting simply because you checked. Against villians who do that sort of reflexively, you should block the river.
