These polls seem to spark some good discussion. Let's hear what you have to say.
Assume it's 10-20 6-max and you're under the gun in each instance. The game is playing aggressive. |

Is the last question specific to 6H LO8? Because I voted 'loser, small sample' (I play very little LO8, let alone SH LO8), but if you meant for O8 generally I'm a winner over a medium sample ...

Raise/fold/raise. Loser over ultra tiny less than insignificant sample, but I feel clueless when I play so I doubt I'm a winner. No specific reasons on why I chose what I chose, just seems right.

OK maybe im a tight-ass but I voted fold to all 3. Though the first one is the closest for me, and if Im playing loose, I'd raise it.
Then again, I dont like rainbow hands much and the first one doesnt have much in flush/str8 draw possiblities and has the 2nd nut low. I dont think its a good idea to raise this under the gun. I am a winner at 3/6 and below, break-even (possibly small winner?) at 5/10, and unknown at 10/20 (winning in a small and insignificant sample). |

Just learning the game, perhaps a slight winner at low limits. |

I voted fold / call / raise and I am a beginner.
The first hand is trashy IMO and should be played only full ring in late position for one bet. I would fold it even then though. The second hand is much better. A raise comes into consideration since for instance a set of fives after the flop would do better against a small field. If I flop a flush draw I would prefer a large field though. When in doubt about raising or limping I usually limp in O8. For a shorthanded game the third start hand to me seems clearly the best of the three. Full ring I would muck it if not in the big blind though. |

calling with A4JT has got to be a huge mistake. ive been experimenting with limping A3 and raising A4, but thats from UTG. i wouldnt limp 6handed. when you limp with A3 you give people a chance to limp behind with 23 and chase all the way down. thats the problem you get with limping A4, people are now correctly chasing 23 and all you have are 3 unsuited broadway cards. raise if youre going to play it. i voted fold.

Fold, fold, fold and it's not even close.
To the guy that said A559 is 'much better' I'd recommend reading a book or 2. It's the worst hand of the bunch by far. |
