Default $50 HUSNG -- Thirteen LAGgy Hands...

Opponent is decent. He raises most hands from the button and attacks my small blind limps aggressively. He's made some strange river bets, such as a medium sized bet with QQ on a 5789A board. I'm not going to post all the hands because no one reads those, but I'd appreciate questions/comments/criticism on the ones I post below. Thank you.

1-I usually flat call here.

2/3-I dont like this "bluff" out of position. Its too small and he will call you down

4-This is a good way to give up the chip lead, I hate this.

5-Why double barrell here? I think u need to bet bigger to make it work plus a read to know he will lay to the double.

6-I'd like this if villain were deeper. He likely has a small pair and might look u up.

7-I'd open shove flop

8-Ok

9-Ok, fold to a push

10-So many Check raises out of position. This might be a leak.

11-Shove flop but yes call if he shoves as played

12-fold to a push

Nice OOP exercise. I suppose you don't actually play like this. All these check-raises are highly dependent on a)prior history within the past few hands, discounted as they get older and b)the ranges you expect him to play preflop. In a vacuum, most of the hands are bad and unnecessary, but the real judgment would be on spots and not the hands. There is literally no way for an observer to know whether a specific river overbet bluff is good or not - its a 100% feel play based on your perception of his range, which is very dynamic. The answers you get are people's defaults, which are pretty much irrelevant in such spots, unless you are gathering intelligence on how to play 2+2ers.

The hand where I have a definitive comment is the A3 shove for 20BB+ - A3 matches up worse than almost anything against a standard calling range provided this is your first PF shove over a 3x raise. Are you asking whether his calling range is so tight that you can shove top 80?

Hand 1: fine/standard
Hand 2: I would CR Flop, as played C/F River
Hand 3: Same hand as 3 No?
Hand 4: I like to ocassionally CR agrobettror w air, but would raise it up a bit more...you're gonna get looked up often now and will have to give up
Hand 5: I dont like the Riverbet
Hand 6: He's pretty much gonna fold to any bet thats more than 1/2 pot I think...I would bet less to make it look more like a valuebet and risk less if you're the 'trapee'.
Hand 7: Bet more and call All-in or push flop. As played: tuff to both fold to a push or call it. On average you're prolly about a 3 to 1 dog if he pushes and you're getting like 2.8 to 1 odds...This a cursing moment and a crying call for me.
Hand 8: Not sure if its really bad if Villain's been raising every hand. But if he's in gambling mode youre pretty much gonna get called like always and will never be a huge fave. Dont really like the push I guess. Maybe better to call and snap off C-bets and bluffs if you flop good.
Hand 9: reraise more and bet more, like 3/4 or fullpot on flop. This is what you would bet if you had like AQ-no heart no? As played and pushed into: Curse, throw stuff at the wall. Really Dunno.
Hand 10: Okay. Works most of the time.
Hand 11: nh, but again you're pricinmg him in preflop. I def reraise more. This guy will call no matter what I think. Make his preflop call as big a mistake as possible.
Hand 12a: Would play the same, and yes call.
Hand 12b: Your equity has to be at least 45% here, so yeah call.

You been playing a lot again lately?

Would be nice to know who hero is...

1)Std
2) Don't like, think you're getting called by too many marginal hands.
3) I like it, you're getting called by lots of marginal hands.
4) I agree with it. Especially early on. If he does call you with A high, then I think it's worthwhile information.
5) Don't like this hand at all. What do you put him on that he'll fold here? I think he calls every day.
6) Again, I prefer a call.
7) Fine bet/fold imho
8) I prefer not to play like this given blinds, but I think it's ok.
9) Prefer a bigger bet and fold to a push.
10) unsure, depends on player
11) fine
12) fine, usually I'll call a push
12 - part 2) Flip a coin, I'd usually fold here, but that's just me.
