Default ACES PF....

ftp 5.5 90 person sng...

with about 60 people left, i had avg. stack, and picked up aces in MP. I pushed...having seen a lot of people call with bad hands all night...of course the table folded around...i picked up the limps of the 3 players to my right.

is this very bad?

kind of feels like i 'stooped' to their level, but thoght it could be profitable. i think i had an edge at the table/tourney...maybe this is an arg for not pushing?

dunno.

thoughts?

Just make a normal raise. Like 3xBB + 1BB each limper. If they call to much make the raise bigger.

i play a lot of $4 and $11 180 mans on stars which is pretty much the = of ftp's 90 mans, and usually i will do this play early in the tourney (first 5 mins) other than later where i just play it 3x bb or reraise.
