Default Futures- Required ROI?

The Rugby World Cup is in September/October with the final on October 20th. New Zealand is -187.5 on SIA and on every other site they are -225 or better at pretty much every other book (-264 at Pinny and -245 at The Greek). I have the All Blacks at -250 to win, as well. Is this a good enough ROI for a futures bet that will not settle until 3 1/2 months from now?

Depends how often you could roll that money over between now and then and what your ROI is on a typical (non-futures) bet. For example, if you could make 10 bets with that money between now and then with a 3% ROI on each, that is equivalent to making one futures bet with an ROI of 34% (1.03^10).

So if SIA has the odds at -187.5 and for the sake of discussion the true odds are -250, that would be a 9.29% ROI?
