Both villains are usual party idiots, running around 40/15 each. UTG has been spewing a lot, but I havent seen the BB getting out of line thus far. Im quite sure i beat the shorty, I'm worried about the bigstack however. Furthermore, the board is extemely drawy and I could have the best hand here, plus, i dont need too much equity to call. Suggestions?

Personally, I fold here.

I mean what are you really putting them on here. IMO without knowing more info UTG's range definantly includes AA-JJ, AK-AQ-AJ spades. BB's range is virtually almost any 2 here. He could easilly have flopped 2 pair, a straight etc. I feel if you call here you are losing this pot at least 70% of the time. I think you can find a better spot.

Meh, I fold. I mean, he check-3bet. BB is sick strong here. I don't know whether you have the required equity to call $230 more. Do some stove work. It's probably close, though.

I like a reraise preflop. I want more money in preflop against a donk.

the problem is when you are ahead you are nearly flipping, and when you're behind you don't have many clean outs. Your tens would put a four-straight on the board, and two of your straight outs finish the flush. I agree that you need to stove it. I'd guess its really really close.

I am sure you want lines on your flop but do we ever RR PF to play HU against spewy player? We would have to play OOP against UTG if he called and the BB even if he did call but we could be able to make more informed decisions on the flop.

As for the flop its ~$270 to you to call in a ~$470 pot. Even spewy/donky players get good hands. I don't think your pair is good here for obvious reasons and your draw isn't that strong either. BB could of in fact CRAI with a sick draw (A6s) or he may even have a hand here such as JT (might not be as likely since you have a T) a set or 56. I think you can fold in this spot. Look to get them another time.

I feel like this is really close between a call and a fold. Hero has to call 227 into a 533 pot, so he needs to win like 30% of the time for it to be a good call (Am I right here?).

I'm trying to get better with pokerstove and assigning ranges and stuff, so I tried it out on this hand. UTG is hand 1, BB is hand 2.

Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

2,380,308 games 0.125 secs 19,042,464 games/sec

Board: 9s 8h 7s
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 28.746% 26.93% 01.82% 640907 43333.83 { TcTs }
Hand 1: 28.735% 27.75% 00.99% 660512 23470.83 { 66+, AsKs, AsQs, AsJs, KsQs, KsJs, QsJs }
Hand 2: 42.519% 41.03% 01.49% 976668 35416.33 { TT-77, AsKs, AsQs, AsJs, As8s, KsQs, KsJs, QsJs, JTs, 96s+, 87s, JTo, 96o+, 87o }

---

For the suited hands, I assigned them only spades. I have no idea if these ranges are close, like I said, I'm kind of new to this. So, at least going by my ranges, its almost even between a call and a fold? If someone could tell me if my ranges are ok, that'd be sweet.

So anyway, I think calling and folding are both fine, I'd probably call if I was in the heat of the moment though.
